Join the Time Bank Community

We love to welcome new members to our community. Our aim is to build connections and trust between people and strengthen our communities and neighborhoods. Creating and maintaining a sharing and flourishing community of volunteers makes everyone’s life better and happier.

We have worked hard to make joining the Time Bank of the Rockies a simple and straightforward process.

Please fill out the online application form. The application is short and easy. All you need is two adult references.

If you prefer a paper application, you can download it here, fill it out, and mail it in. Alternatively, give us a call at 970-209-6886 to mail a copy to you or to learn when the next presentation is scheduled.

Yearly Membership Donation

A monetary donation helps TBR cover basic operating costs. We greatly appreciate your donation and strive to return its value to you in quality Time Bank service.

You can make an online payment through our secure PayPal account by selecting your membership level and clicking the Pay Now button. Alternatively, you can mail a check to our PO Box.

If you prefer, and in the spirit of time exchange, you may also donate four volunteer hours helping the Time Bank. If this is your choice, simply fill out and submit the application in step 1, then contact TBR to coordinate your volunteer hours.

Reference Check

For your own safety as well as that of our members, we check all references. Please let your two non-relatives know that they will be asked to complete the online reference form that will be processed with your application.

If your references would prefer a paper application, you can download it here, then have them fill it out, and mail it to TBR, PO Box 85, Montrose, CO, 81402.

New Member Orientation

Once the office has received your application and completed forms from your references, you will be invited to select one of the upcoming orientations to attend. These orientations are held on a monthly basis and are required for all members in order to review the membership agreement and sign the liability release form.

Call us at 970-209-6886 to learn when the next presentation is scheduled.

After these steps are done, you will be able to start exchanging hours with our members!

“LiveWell Montrose Olathe signed up to be a Gold Level Sponsor of TBR earlier this year. Honestly, at first, I was a little skeptical about how much our organization would gain from this $500 sponsorship, but after a little more than two months I could not be happier with our investment! The individual TBR memberships are a valuable benefit for our employees and volunteers, and our organization has already received over $3,000 worth of high-level professional volunteer time. That is a tremendous ROI and allows us to help build a worthy community institution.

Moving forward, we will be encouraging our members, volunteers, and partners to join TBR. Indeed, I would encourage any organizational leader who wants to stretch their resources, increase their ability to engage and retain skilled volunteers, and build the community to invest in a TBR sponsorship.”

A Thank You From Montrose Farmers Market

“Just a quick note to thank Time Bank of the Rockies for their amazing program!

This summer, the Montrose Farmers Market was able to have a successful season in part due to the help of the many Time Bank participants who helped set up our weekly market throughout the summer.

The Farmers Market requires a lot of manpower to set up tents, tables, and street signs. It is truly labor intensive and time consuming. With the help of local Time Bank volunteers, we were able to keep things running smoothly, create several successful events, and help keep the market alive! It’s a great way to make new friends and get to know people. I am very grateful for our TBR community and look forward to meeting and working with all of you who help make my job that much easier!”
